The latest news from teams in the FNSW State Cup
The 2016 football season, the 60th season that Wahroonga
FC has fielded teams in the NSFA competition, is now
well underway. All Wahroonga’s teams, from Under 6s
playing MiniRoos all the way up to the Over 45s, have
played at least 6 matches and so far everyone appears
to be enjoying their football.  

Wahroonga FC continued support for
Statewide Defibrillator initiative

The recent tragic death of the well respected KDRFA
referee, Charles Tiedt, on 21 May from a heart attack
whilst refereeing a match was yet another timely
reminder of the need for a State wide approach to
making a defibrillator available at every sports field.

We are fund raising for new training equipment
with 2016/17 Entertainment Book

We are selling Entertainment Books, both hard copy
and online versions, in 2016 to raise funds for the club.
20% of every book sold will go directly into our fund
for new training equipment.

The Tigers Den is open every Saturday at Karuah
Our major sponsor is La Zana Ristorante of Wahroonga. 
Peter and Katie Lazanas and their team are again
running the canteen, which is known as the “Tigers’ Den”,
down at Karuah on Saturday mornings.

GU12 Diamond League team enjoying a
Football NSW skills workshop

Our Wahroonga-West Pymble GU12 Diamond League
team were participants in a Coach Workshop for the Skills
Acquisition Phase run by Oscar Gonzalez from FNSW. 

Survey results confirm existing shorts will be retained
You will have all received an email in recent weeks
advising of a survey we were conducting about a possible
change to the Wahroonga FC playing kit. We were
considering whether to change from red shorts and socks
to white shorts and red and white hooped socks.
